Hi.
We are planning a trip in Sept and had a few questions.
1. My hubby is scared of the chondola, can we can purchase tickets for the Rambler to get to Anakeesta?
2. If I can talk him into the chondola, what is the weight limit for it?
–we both love food. haha
Thank you.
Tarah

Hi Tarah,
We look forward to welcoming you in September. Your general admission ticket is good for either the chair lift or the ridge rambler. You can choose how you would like to access the mountain once you arrive. There is signage and guest ambassadors to help you easily locate where to load each. Thank you.

I am planning a trip to Gatlinburg in 4 weeks (July 2020) and was wondering if this will be available. How can I purchase tickets to be able to take Ridge Rambler up the mountain.
Michele Canney says
Hi Cindy,
Our ridge rambler is running and available for guests to use as alternate transportation to access the mountain instead of the lift. Your general admission ticket will give you access to either the lift or the rambler. You can choose your way to the top upon arrival.
Duffy says
Can we use the express pass ticket to ride the rambler? Or is that just for the chondula?
Michele Canney says
Yes you can use the express pass tickets for the Ridge Rambler. However, we do not have an expedited lane for express access for the Rambler, only the open air chairs.

Are there handrails for elderly to enter/exit the ramblers? We have a few seniors that dont climb steps well without rails but with rails, no problem. We saw the steps with rails in photo but want to be sure before purchasing tickets. We look forward to see the top of the mountain!
Michele Canney says
Yes, each of the Ridge Rambler steps have hand rails for ease of access.

Hello! We will be in Gatlinburg from Oct 28th through Oct 30th(long awaited trip!). We understand it will be very busy during the peak time of year. We want to take the Ridge Ramblers to the top-how long should we prepare to stand in line if we go on Thursday or Friday(figure weekdays will be less). Is there a particular time of day that is better for lines? We would like to be there in the afternoon and evening. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance!
Maggie Gregg says
Hi! We are not sure of the wait times, but we do recommend coming right as we open or later in the evening. Around 11-2 pm it’s quite busy!
Kayla says
Is there a weight limit on the chair lift?
Marshall Smith says
There is no weight limit to ride our Chondola!

Hello!
We are planning to visit January 5th- 8th and with having a fear of heights we would want to take the riddle rambler. Would it still be an option with the winter season? Also, where would this be located?
Marketing Anakeesta says
Yes Adrienne, the ramblers are available year round! Note that Anakeesta is open Friday – Sunday in January and February. We are located at 576 Parkway in Gatlinburg, TN. Hope you enjoy your visit!
