10 ways to have fun in the Smokies at Anakeesta
1. The Crystal Express Gondola
Relax with your kids before the big adventure by taking a ride on our scenic Gondola lifts.
This is the world’s glass bottomed Gondola where six guests can ride, or hop into an enclosed Gondola cabin with seating for six for a ride 600-feet up to the top of Anakeesta Mountain.
2. The Ridge Rambler
Want to get to the top of Anakeesta quickly? Take your kids on a thrilling ride through the Smoky Mountain landscape to the top. The Ridge Rambler is the perfect way to experience the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Maybe you’ll see a bear on the way!
3. The Tree Top Skywalk
Discover loads of fun by taking a trip across North America’s longest tree-based skywalk. With more than 800 feet of hanging bridges suspended more than 50 feet in the air above the canopy, children and parents can immerse themselves in nature and experience the forest with a birds-eye-view of the Smoky Mountains. 
4. Treehouse Village
A whimsical, treehouse village adventure awaits kids of all ages at the TreeHouse Village play area at Anakeesta. Connected by multiple bridges, the treehouse offers physical and educational elements designed to build strength and confidence. Learn about the American Goldfinch, navigate a plank walk to a maze encapsulated by a house in the trees. Then crawl through a tube net to a climbing adventure within the walls of nature.
5. TreeVenture Challenge

Families can climb, swing, crawl and slide their way through three levels of play in these interactive treehouses. Six netted bridges and three treehouse offer different challenges that will delight kids of all ages.
6. BearVenture Challenge
Think like a bear to get through this challenge course at Anakeesta! Kids will love the physical challenges of crossing this whimsical black bear themed challenge course. Sure to delight, it is fun for families of all ages.
7. Gem Mine
Strike it rich at the Anakeesta Gem Mine! An interactive waterfall and sluice allows kids of all ages to search for that special gemstone or fossil. Children can indulge their inner-explorer by
sifting through the earth to find the perfect gem. Located at the end of the Tree Top Skywalk and adjacent to the Treehouse Village Playground, Gem Mining is always a fun family activity.
8. Splash Pad
Cool off under the summer sun in the water with our splash pad. Located in Black Bear Village, your kids will delight in the waterspouts for a summer adventure near our falls.
9. Pearl’s Pie in the Sky
Top off the day with a scoop or two of ice cream at our ice cream and pie shop, Pearl’s Pie in the Sky.
