Anakeesta is expanding! We are working on some exciting projects slated to open this spring that will make your Anakeesta experience even more spectacular.
Hours for January 8th – February 28th:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Monday -Thursday: CLOSED
**We will be open on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 15th and Presidents Day, Monday, February 19th.
What’s coming to Anakeesta?
We’re so glad you asked! We are working on five, yes FIVE, new projects on Anakeesta Mountain that will be ready for you to enjoy this spring!
Anakeesta Mountain Coaster:
Our adrenaline pumping single-rail coaster sits low on the forest floor where you feel the full force of 25 MPH speed. Race through the trees while flying down the mountain or go at a slower pace to enjoy the scenery. You control the speed! The unique car lets you ride solo or tandem with a young child.
Restaurant and Bar: We will be adding a restaurant and bar that will seat up to 240 people. The menu will feature smoked southern favorites, a selection of half-pound char-grilled burgers made to order with a variety of toppings, along with signature salads and sides. Our full bar will offer a selection of specialty craft beers from Gatlinburg on tap.
New Zip Line: A third zipline is being added to our Dueling Zipline Adventure. Already a thrilling ride, this third zip extends the course. You will zip over the Chondola for a unique aerial view then end your journey directly at the Chondola mid-station for a comfortable ride back to the top.
Garden Walk: For all you nature lovers, a new garden walk is being added that will allow you to meander through beautiful flowers, lush greenery, and gorgeous landscaping. The walk will begin at the top of the Memorial Forest Walk and lead you to the Treehouse Village Playground and Tree Canopy Walk.
Sunset Deck: Looking for that perfect spot to take in the sunset? We are adding a large west facing covered pavilion that will offer the perfect spot to enjoy a glorious sunset. Once the sun is down, sit a spell and enjoy the twinkling lights of downtown Gatlinburg.
All Lit Up
We have added lighting to our Tree Canopy Walk and Treehouse Village Playground so you can now enjoy both even after the sun goes down. Walking through the tree canopy and trekking through the treehouse playground at night gives you a whole different, and very cool, experience.
Love is in the Air
Anakeesta has been the backdrop of some beautiful and romantic proposals this winter and we couldn’t love it more! Thank you to everyone who has shared their special moments with us! And now, the lovebirds who said, “yes” can now say, “I do,” at Anakeesta. Tie the knot overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains using one of our Gatlinburg wedding packages. What can we say? We love, love!

Season Passes Now Available
Experience the beauty and adventure of Anakeesta year round with our new Anakeesta season pass! Season pass holders can visit as many times as they want for one low price from now until the end of 2018. Passes are available for purchase here or at the Anakeesta ticket booth located at 576 Parkway.
