GATLINBURG, Tenn. — Summer is just around the corner in the Smokies, and families will find no better place to spend their vacation than at Anakeesta during our Summer in the Smokies celebration.
To welcome the fun and joy of a new season, Anakeesta will begin its Summer in the Smokies event July 1, just ahead of the holiday weekend. Take a trip up to Anakeesta Mountain on our Ridge Rambler vehicles or enjoy the summer mountain air from our Chondolas. Let yourself soak in the sounds of summer with our live bands, which will perform every Wednesday through Sunday in the park.
Visitors to the park during our summer event will also take in delicious dining specials, based on our summer theme. When guests are done eating, they can spend an evening in the park watching the sunset from the deck of Cliff Top or Smokehouse. Every Friday night, visitors can enjoy our Movies on the Mountain series. Films on Fridays kick off after sunset. With our all-day, unlimited park access, you can enjoy the park in the morning and then come back for a movie.
Also a feature of our Summer in the Smokies will be kids crafts and face painting, all of which will be included in general admission.
Don’t forget our first summer holiday event Red, White and Brews. That event celebrates July 4th from July 2 through July 4. It will feature special drink and food menus as well as live music.
