GATLINBURG, Tenn. (January 2021)– The best place to see New Year’s Eve fireworks in Gatlinburg will have extended hours this coming holiday! Anakeesta is welcoming everyone to the adventure theme park for tons of holiday fun this year from 9 a.m. to midnight on New Year’s Eve.
Guests ringing in the new year at Anakeesta will enjoy the stunning lights of our Enchanted Winter experience in Arctic Alley, the TreeTop Skywalk, AnaVista Tower, and among the winter blooms in Vista Gardens. While relaxing at Black Bear Village or in Firefly Village, visitors to the park will also enjoy live entertainment all day featuring the musical talents of the Kincaid Band, Monroeville and Hendry Bombat.
Before settling in at Anakeesta’s Smokehouse restaurant to view the City of Gatlinburg fireworks, enjoy a delicious New Year’s meal special from Cliff Top, the Moonlit Sonata, pepper-rubbed filet and butter-poached lobster with a roasted pepper hollandaise over rosemary pomme frites. Accompany that wonderful dinner with Cliff Top’s layered tuxedo cake, topped with fresh berries and mint as you get ready to enjoy the New Year’s fireworks!
The perfect place to watch them will be from the deck of the Smokehouse restaurant, located in the park’s Firefly Village. At 10 p.m., staff will be gifting guests with New Year’s Eve party items to celebrate the occasion, and the City of Gatlinburg’s fireworks begin at midnight.
