GATLINBURG, Tenn. — A brand new experience is coming to Anakeesta to kick off the park’s Enchanted Winter event! Starting November 11, visitors to Anakeesta will be able to enjoy a special sweet treat from five locations in the park while they take in new lighting experiences, the Smoky Mountains, seasonal dĂ©cor and the winter atmosphere. From Smokehouse restaurant in cozy Firefly Village to the Watering Can at Vista Plaza in our stunning Vista Gardens, guests can take an adventure on our NEW Hot Chocolate Trail.
Visitors who take a ride through the crisp winter air on the park’s Chondola, guests can stop at Smokehouse and try out a delicious, warm Smoked Pecan drink. This specially-crafted drink is infused with caramel drizzle, house-smoked pecans, whipped cream, and turtle candies, and for some extra flavor, adults can add Sugarlands’ Butter Pecan Sippin’ Cream. Guests who take a forested ride on a Ridge Rambler may want to stop by the Cliff Top Restaurant and try out a Peanut Butter Surrender. This hot chocolate drink is made with Reese’s Pieces, chocolate drizzle, whipped cream, and topped with a Reese Cup, and adults can spike it with Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey.
If you’re in the mood for a hot chocolate drink that’ll give you the energy to enjoy a full day at Anakeesta, stop by Kephart CafĂ© and try the Italian Hot Chocolate drink with chocolate-dipped biscotti, whipped cream, and topped off with chocolate-covered coffee beans. Those looking for a warm and refreshing drink after walking around Anakeesta and enjoying the tens of thousands of lights throughout the park, stop by Anakeesta’s newest shop and dining outlet, the Watering Can. At the Watering Can, you can enjoy Mint from the Garden, a drink made with crushed Andes Mints, chocolate shavings, whipped cream and topped with fresh mint.
Along with trying out this new experience and enjoying a delicious drink, visitors who participate in the Hot Chocolate Trail will be allowed to take their special Hot Chocolate Trail mug home with them!
