In two weeks since our last Making More Magic construction project update, we’ve continued to make major progress. During this period, we achieved several milestones, including pouring large volumes of concrete, beginning construction of our return terminal structure, airlifting new towers by helicopter, and starting renovations at Firefly Village.

Anakeesta, the mountaintop adventure park in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, unveiled Making More Magic, a five-year, $100 million investment for the largest expansion in the park’s history. It’s both a promise and a plan: to create new ways for guests to experience the beauty of the Smokies while enhancing every part of the Anakeesta adventure.
GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WATE) — As Sevier County continues to generate billions in tourism spending, Anakeesta announced a $100 million expansion called “Making More Magic.”
Anakeesta, a mountaintop adventure park in Gatlinburg, is “making more magic” in the Great Smoky Mountains with a massive expansion and renovation that will include new attractions, dining and retail experiences and a new lift to the top.
Anakeesta in Gatlinburg plans to expand over the course of the next five years, calling the initiative Making More Magic.
